Whiskey Caol Ila 15 years LIMITED is a rare discovery distilled at the legendary Caol Ila Distillery, founded in 1846. This legendary Scottish distillery, located on the suggestive "Sound of Islay" a few steps from the sea, is renowned for the production of high quality.
This whiskey was matured for 12 years in ex-bourbon casks before being aged for a further 3 years in an ex-oloroso sherry cask. The cask, designated N. 100232-005, produced only 206 numbered bottles of this limited edition.
Whiskey Caol Ila 15 years LIMITED has an alcohol concentration of 52.3% and provides an enveloping and delicious flavor sensation. The fragrant notes of the ex bourbon cask combine with the rich fragrances of the ex sherry oloroso cask, creating a unique balance of flavours.
