This whiskey is notable for its delicate peat of barely 25ppm and its distinct maritime aromas. This Bowmore expression is distinguished by its 15-year age in a "refill" ex-bourbon barrel.
This decision was taken to maintain the delicate and flowery flavors that distinguish this whiskey.
The barrel, coded N. 8256/06, produced just 183 bottles of this limited edition, making each bottle a collector's treasure.
The Bowmore Whiskey 15 y.o. LIMITED Edition has an alcohol concentration of 53.3% and provides a strong and engulfing flavor sensation.
The flowery notes combine well with the subtleties of vanilla and wood from the bourbon barrel.
