Waterford Single Farm Ballybannon Peated

The Arcadian Barley series, which includes Fenniscourt Peated and Ballybannon Peated in addition to Hunter, investigates the natural aromas and authenticity of ancient times, seeking the intensity of flavors from organic and biodynamic peated barley. Genuine Irish barley and peat for trailblazing distillations. Peat has been the primary source of fuel in rural Ireland since the beginning of time. Its sweet scent enveloped barley dried on peat smoke by unauthorized distillers, a practice that died out in the 1850s. We are returning to a wild tradition with the barley grown on the farms of Fenniscourt and Ballybannon.
