Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve

Worthy Park Estate Reserve is made entirely of Mark WPL, one of the lightest esters. Fermentation takes place in large closed stainless steel vats and lasts 30 hours thanks to the work of two types of yeast combined: one selected dry and a second yeast isolated on the Worthy Park Estate's sugar canes. The distillation takes about 5/6 hours inside the Worthy Park Distillery's only Forsyths pot still double retort, which was installed in 2005 when the distillery reopened. The end result is a rum with esters ranging from 60 to 119 gr/hlap - the range of the WPL mark - that ages in a tropical climate for 6 to 10 years, primarily in ex-bourbon barrels. Rum Bar Gold is bottled at 45°.
