The Real Mccoy 5 Y.O. Distiller's Proof 46%

The Real McCoy 5 Y.O. Distiller's Proof 46° is a limited edition single blended rum produced by Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, starting with high quality black strap molasses that ferments for 48 to 56 hours. The distillation is done partly in a continuous coffee column and partly in a Green Engineering copper pot still double retort. The aging process takes at least 5 years in a tropical climate, and Richard Seale himself composes the blend of liquids after the appropriate maturation time in ex-bourbon barrels. The degree of bottling at 46% alc vol without the addition of sweeteners or other additives distinguishes all "Distiller's Proof" expressions.
