Drouin Expression 2022 Tres Pomme Limited Edition

Drouin Expression 2017 Tres Pommes is a Pays D'auge Calvados made from 30 varieties of cider apples, harvested from Drouin family orchards. The apples are left to macerate in order to obtain the right coloring, while the juice is obtained after a light pressing like the one of champagne, in which only 65% of the total juice is extracted. Spontaneous fermentation is followed by a long maturation of the cider, which is then distilled in the traditional Charentais still. Aging takes place in barrels previously containing other Maison Drouin Calvados. The name Tres Pommes identifies those Calvados with a notable apple aromatic intensity. Limited edition bottled in June 2017, for a total number of 1,200 bottles.
