Tesseron LOT 90 XO Ovation

Cognac Tesseron is an institution. Originally, the Tesseron family operated as selectors and wholesalers of old eaux-de-vie, later beginning to distill and age their own production sourced from the Grande and Petite Champagne regions. At the start of the 2000s, the maison decided to bottle under its own name, creating some of the most elegant expressions of extra-old cognac, ranging from several decades to early 20th-century vintages.  
The family also owns the historic Pauillac wine estate Pontet-Canet.  
Tesseron Cognacs are exclusively XO (extra old) and are now sold solely under this label. The “Lot” on the label refers to the youngest reserve used in the blend.  
From Tesseron's Lot No. 90 cellar comes this Cognac Ovation Decanter, made from the finest Colombard, Folle Blanche, and Ugni Blanc grapes, distilled in a traditional Charentais copper pot still and aged for 10 years in French oak barrels.

Palate: Decisive and reflects the olfactory notes.
Nose: fruity notes of pear, quince, dried fruit, walnuts and almonds.
Finish: Persistent.
