Kilkerran 12 Years Old Release 2023

Single Malt Kilkerran 12 Years is the first stable bottling in Glengyle's core range since the Work in Progress series.
Twelve years spent in a mix of 70% ex-bourbon and 30% ex-sherry casks, this now iconic Scotch represents the first major achievement of the small satellite distillery in Springbank, opened in 2004 under the absolute supervision of Frank McHardy.
Aroma profile: a lightly peaty whisky, rich in coastal and marine notes, combined with a special fruity delicacy.

on the nose smells of Notes of oak, followed by toasted sugar toffee and dried fruit pudding with cherries, marzipan and a hint of peat.
The palate is initially fruity with hints of citrus and orange peel, then gently transitions to sweet notes of vanilla, caramel and digestive biscuits.
The finish is velvety smooth with lemon meringue. Oily and salty as one would expect from a Campbeltown malt.
