Magnum Saint James 12 Y.O. Series 2 2010 70cl

This 12-year-old Saint James, here in 70cl format, is part of the second edition of the now legendary Magnum series, born in 2021 from an idea of Luca Gargano, with the aim of bringing together the great masters of rum with the great photographers of the Magnum agency.

This aged agricultural rum was distilled in a Creole column and produced from a blend of the 2003 and 2010 vintages. The entire production process takes place at the distillery using artisanal methods in order to be covered by Martinique's Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée. Founded in 1765, Saint James is the largest and oldest distillery in Martinique.

The nose is rich and full-bodied, with hints of sugar and honey evolving into gentian, chocolate and herbal aromas.

The palate is creamy and delicate, rich in medicinal notes, spices and herbs in infusion, with nuances of cocoa and candied ginger.

The finish is soft and persistent, very evocative of sugar cane, with an aftertaste of almond and marmalade.
