Trinciato Italia: review
Italia is a historic Italian pipe tobacco produced by Manifatture Sigaro Toscano.
It has a stated composition of Virginia and Kentucky, but could also contain some Burley, as its typical notes of dried fruit are perceptible (even raw, when opening the pouch).
Italy might also contain Orientals, too, and we explain why: while in the first part of the smoke there is an alternation of the sweet and woody notes of Virginia and Kentucky, which bind harmoniously, in the middle of the smoke, in addition to the woody hints that gradually become prevalent, spicy notes are also noticeable.
Spicy notes are typical of Orientals, so we do not rule out their presence.
Italy is a very well known and appreciated tobacco among long-time smokers; it does not have a great evolution but has a very good balance and body, although it does not have a noticeable nicotine impact.
Ultimately, we consider Italia pipe tobacco to be one of the best value for money, excellent for smoking at any time of the day.
