St. Bruno Flake: review
After talking about Italia and Scaferlati Caporal, we conclude the trilogy of “flagship tobaccos” with ST. Bruno, a historic English blend.
It's a flake, so it requires a little more attention in smoking, otherwise you can opt to crumble it. This will make loading and smoking smoother, as with a cut tobaccos.
It gives off floral and citrus notes both raw and in smoke, enriching the Virginia/Kentucky base. At the beginning of the smoke, the hay and field-grass aroma of Virginia is most noticeable, then alternating with those of roastiness and leather typical of Kentucky.
It is a rather moist tobacco: it is good to smoke in regular, low intensity puffs to avoid condensation.
ST. Bruno joins Italy and Caporal as one of the most popular Virginia/Kentucky tobaccos among smokers, but each has a distinct and recognizable personality.
