Mac Baren HH Bold Kentucky
The HH Bold Kentucky is definitely a tobacco more suited to experienced smokers, or perhaps those who come from a long experience with Kentucky cigars or strong English Mixtures.
I chose this tobacco primarily because it has very good Kentucky varieties, which I personally have only found in some American tobaccos, such as G.L. Pease.
Overall, it is a strong and satisfying blend, certainly the most intense among the Mac Barens.
It contains copious amounts of fine Dark Fired American and African Kentucky, combined with some Bright Virginia to soften it slightly.
The taste tends toward earthy, but conceals a very slight sweet aftertaste.
I have never heard anyone complain about this tobacco, I think every smoker should try it at least once!
