Starting from 2014, the family that owns Lochlea Farm decided to communicate their project and announce their production which was bottled in 2022. The production of this Scotch whisky takes place all around the ecosystem of the Lochlea farm. For years the farm had been involved in the production of barley for the whiskeys of other distilleries and spirits production houses.
The entire production is concentrated around the farm, allowing you to control all the various steps for the production of whisky. Starting from growing your own barley to livestock feed made from barley waste that does not reach their high quality standards.
